Highway Maintenance Worker

The Pawnee County Road Department is now accepting applications for a full time Highway Maintenance Worker position. Duties include operating all types of equipment associated with county road maintenance, such as Excavator Work, operating a Maintainer, hauling rock with Semi Truck and Belly Dump, etc. Must have a current Class A CDL license. New employees are required to take a pre-employment drug test. Must live within 20 miles of the Pawnee County line. Starting wage will be $21.47 per hour graduating to $23.85 per hour after completion of a 6-month probationary period. Benefits include vacation, sick leave, health insurance and retirement plan.
